About Me
I am Dr. Yasemin Aydınlı. I was born on 25 December 1987 in Gaziantep, as the daughter of an officer, during his compulsory posting in eastern Türkiye. Growing up in a disciplined family environment shaped my sense of determination, responsibility and professional ethics.
After primary school, I entered Ankara Science High School, one of Türkiye's most distinguished and long-established schools. The research culture and disciplined learning environment of this prestigious school — which selects students who excel in science and mathematics nationwide — gave me a solid scientific foundation. I completed high school with a 5.0 GPA, laying a strong groundwork for my medical education. In my high-school years I aspired to become a physician in a field that offers people both functional and aesthetic benefit and that combines scientific curiosity with manual skill, and I set my goal as plastic surgery.
In the university entrance exam I ranked 21st in Türkiye and was placed at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English Program), which offers education and clinical experience to international standards. Thanks to Hacettepe's intensive, high-quality hands-on training, my fundamental medical knowledge and clinical skills developed in a well-rounded way. I have always believed that one of the most important factors defining a doctor's professional stance is the quality of their basic medical education and the ethical values of their school; in this sense Hacettepe gave me a very strong foundation. I graduated as an honor student.
After graduation, ranking 62nd in the Medical Specialty Examination (TUS), I began my residency at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Thanks to Ankara University's aesthetic-surgery-focused residency program, I deepened my knowledge and skills in aesthetic surgery. During my residency I also received microsurgery training at the Columbia University Microsurgery Research and Training Laboratory in New York, advancing my competence in this field to an international level.
I completed my compulsory service at Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital and Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital. During this period I intensively served the region's healthcare needs and emergency surgical cases; during Operation Peace Spring I worked under extraordinary conditions in areas close to the border, treating war-surgery-level injuries and managing complex trauma, gaining significant experience in both surgery and crisis management.
To date I have presented numerous national and international papers. I have publications in peer-reviewed journals and a book chapter.
Today, blending the plastic-surgery passion that took root in my high-school years with the scientific discipline of Ankara Science High School, the intensive hands-on training of Hacettepe's English Medicine program and the aesthetic-surgery-focused residency of Ankara University, I continue to offer safe, personalized solutions grounded in ethical and scientific principles. By closely following national and international developments and integrating them into my practice, I aim to provide my patients treatments that are highly satisfying both functionally and aesthetically and, above all, safe.
