What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a skin-renewal procedure that aims to increase collagen and elastin production by creating very small, controlled micro-channels on the skin.
In which cases is it preferred?
- Acne scars and enlarged pores
- Fine lines and uneven skin tone
- Loss of elasticity and the appearance of stretch marks
Procedure and aftercare
It is performed in 30–45 minutes after an anesthetic cream. Mild redness subsides within 24–48 hours; the collagen effect appears in 4–6 weeks. Avoid water contact for the first 12 hours, makeup for 24 hours, exercise/sauna for 48 hours, and direct sun for 3 days.
Depending on the skin concern, several sessions are usually recommended; their intervals are determined during examination.
