What Is Wrinkle Treatment?
It is a quick, non-surgical procedure that softens dynamic wrinkles by temporarily weakening muscle movements. It is used safely in aesthetic and medical settings.
Areas of use
- Wrinkle reduction: dynamic lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes
- Excessive sweating: reducing sweating of the underarms and palms
- Jaw/neck: softening a harsh appearance by relaxing the jaw muscle
- Medical: treatment of migraine and muscle spasm
Procedure
It is injected into the muscle with fine needles; it takes ~10–15 minutes and requires no anesthesia. The effect begins in 3–5 days, becomes fully visible in 10–14 days, and lasts an average of 3–6 months.
At the right dose it preserves facial expressions; a rested rather than frozen look is aimed for.
Do not lie face down for 4 hours; avoid intense exercise, sauna, and bathing for 24 hours. Not applied during pregnancy/breastfeeding.
